Linda K. Bolliger has traveled the path of using entrepreneurship to engineer social change. As a successful business owner for over 20 years and a recognized local leader in the Washington, DC community as well as a recognized national diversity leader, she has founded and operated, in addition to her own management and consulting firm, numerous public service projects such as the Enterprise Exchange, Inc., the Washington Business Guide© and the Public/Private Partnership on Small Business Incubation. Boardroom Bound® Services, Inc., is her current public service challenge. Pre-Enron, she established Boardroom Bound as a 501©(3) Washington, DC-based nonprofit organization.

The group’s overall goal is to provide corporate America a pipeline to advance their business success culture to future business leaders; and where diverse, independent candidates, through Program’s Pipeline Seminar© and Boardology© Coaching services, are prepared and referred for corporate board service. Result: 22 Appointments with over 500 pre-qualified candidates now available for appointments.

Ms. Bolliger is a veteran leader of multiple nonprofit boards, Mayoral transition Teams, her own company board as well as the board of a small Midwestern manufacturing firm. Serving in these roles, she recognized the value of learning leadership and governance…skills she later learned to employ in the Boardroom Bound program.

Today, most Americans share Ms. Bolliger’s corporate change vision! Her story illustrates how one person can still make a difference by helping to diversify today’s corporate boardroom.
