Susanna K. Tisa NAWBO-DC Secretary /Treasurer Susanna Tisa serves as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Corporate Risk Advisors. She is a seasoned executive with corporate finance and operations experience in Fortune 500 and community banks, industry consulting firms, and international development organizations. Specializing in Financial Leadership, Susanna advises clients on liquidity and capital planning, corporate treasury, risk management and investor relations. Susanna has a long track record in corporate finance and capital transactions, including securitization, institutional funding, retail deposit-gathering, and equity offerings. Over the past 25 years, Susanna has held officer positions as Senior Vice President of Finance at Freddie Mac, Vice President - Treasurer and Global Planning at Capital One Financial, and Vice President - Corporate Finance at First Interstate Bancorp. She began her career as a community banker in California, and later joined Kaplan Smith & Associates as a consultant to the savings & loan industry. With respect to international development, Susanna was Chief Financial Officer of the Development Gateway Foundation and Capital Strategy Advisor to global microfinance network FINCA International. Susanna holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Toronto and a B.Commerce from McGill University in Montreal. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Cash Manager. |
