Plave Koch, which was formed in January 2007, is a boutique law firm specializing in franchise matters. Leslie focuses her practice on domestic and international franchise transactional, regulatory and counseling matters. In May 2007, the Franchise Times, an industry publication, included Leslie as one of its 2008 Franchise Legal Eagles. Prior to joining Plave Koch, she was an associate and then a partner at Wiley Rein LLP. Over the years, Leslie has been involved in various bar association groups and industry groups. Currently, Leslie is serving as the Liaison between the American Bar Association and the ABA Forum of Franchising. Leslie received a BA in Political Science with a minor in Communications from Elizabethtown College. In 1999, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and was appointed to the Order of the Coif. At the School of Law, Leslie served on the University of Pittsburgh Law Review as a Staff Member (1997-98) and a Research Editor (1998-99). |
